Recessed Cocoa Mats are manufactured using the husk fibers of naturally grown coconuts shipped directly from India, all bonded to a high-grade vinyl backing. Cocoa Mats are known for being immune to wear and tear. Cocoa mats are very unique because of its bristle coconut hair material as opposed to industrial carpet or polypropylene matting. The hairs are thick and coarse making it a highly effective material for scraping dirt and sand off shoes like a hard toothbrush cleans teeth. Cocoa mats can be loose laid in a recess or glued down for permanent installation.
- Cocoa Mats long coarse fibers trap dirt and moisture below the surface of the mat while any fine remnants blend into the color of the natural cocoa.
- Great for commercial use in busy areas.
- Natural Vina Coir Cocoa color available in 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", and 1" thicknesses.
- All other colors available in 5/8" thickness.
- Cocoa Mats can also be surface mounted and come with or without Edging.
- Black or Brown Vinyl Edging is optional to add to any or all sides of the mat. It is recommended for surface mounted mats (non-recess applications). The cost of Edging is $5.50 per Linear Foot (Please call to order).
- An Aluminum Frame for the Recess is available for purchase (depending on the thickness of the mat) for $7.00 per Linear Foot (Please call to order).
