If you\u2019re new to commercial floor mats<\/a>, there\u2019s an art and a science to selecting the right ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Essentially, you’ll want to consider the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Where\nis the mat going? (or where should<\/em> it\nbe placed?)<\/li>
  2. How\nmuch traffic will it get?<\/li>
  3. What\nkind of traffic will it get?<\/li>
  4. What\ntype of dirt or water do you want the mat to collect?<\/li>
  5. Color,\ndesign, and\/or eco-friendliness should be considered last after you decide\nwhich types of mats you need.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    It\nwould be a good idea to actually look at the layout of your floor or building\nto assess where mats should go. Over 80% of the dirt coming into a building is\ncoming in from people\u2019s shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And\nthe way to reduce that amount of dirt coming in is to use floor mats\u2014and lots\nof them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We\nhave every type of floor mat you may need, and there are too many to list them\nall here, but we\u2019ll give you a few suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Entrance Mats<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    You\ndefinitely need mats at all entrances, and you should likely have a mat outside\nthat scrapes the\nbottoms of shoes<\/a>\nand removes some dirt before the person comes inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Anti-Fatigue Mats<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Wherever\nyou have people standing in one place for long hours, they should have\nanti-fatigue mats to stand on. Anti-fatigue mats make employees feel better and\ncut down on joint aches and pains. This in turn cuts down on lost time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Waterhog Mats<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Waterhog\nMats are the industry standard for wet-weather mats. They absorb a ton of water\nand prevent that water from being tracked throughout your premises. If you live\nin the snow-belt, then you want Waterhog Mats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Chair Mats<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    You\nhave to have chair mats for your employees. Chairs with wheels will tear up\nyour floor if you don\u2019t put down a chair mat. And employees will work more\nefficiently. Have you ever tried to push a chair across carpeting without<\/em> a chair mat?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Mats,\noverall, are simple and inexpensive ways to make your office cleaner, lower\nyour maintenance costs, give your floors a longer life, and make the whole\nplace of business safer. And safety at the workplace is what we\u2019re all about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And\ndon\u2019t forget to think generously when purchasing mats; you need extra mats to put\ndown when some are dirty, off-duty, and being washed and dried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
